Sabbatical

You've spent the past four years training to become a Royal Historian. Now only one thing is left: your Sabbatical. As an acolyte you must travel the kingdom and bring back one piece of knowledge that is not recorded. It's not easy, but thankfully you have some help along the way...and who knows, maybe you'll find love as well.

Sabbatical is a fantasy-romance based Interactive Fiction with the following features:

• A customizable MC! Play as female, male, or non-binary; straight, gay, or asexual/no romance. Basic physical traits for now (hair, eyes, skin, scars), but hoping to add more to this in other chapters.
• Your choices impact your character's personality and how those around you respond.
• Play as an academic whose whole future depends on the success of this Sabbatical.
• Pick your weapon of choice and your combat style (including being terrible at it!).
• Four RO's to choice from, including a Lizardfolk warrior, a desperate thief, a fellow acolyte, and someone else.  Some RO's will have locked gender while others are dependent on MC's sexual orientation.  
• Forward and reserved flirting system! Flirt with everyone until you need to make a decision. There is currently no jealousy system planned. Not until I learn to code better or make friends with someone who can code.
• This game is recommend for 18+ due to mature content. There will be blood, death, swearing, alcohol, trauma, PTSD,  gore, etc. Chapters with potentially triggering content will have content warnings before the chapter starts. Author's Note: Currently only Chapter 1 is completed and uploaded. I like to write...I do not like to code (sadly) so most of this past month has been spent tweaking the coding. 

This is an active demo, meaning I'm still actively updating and working on chapters. If I get enough interest I'm up for making other socials to support this game along with getting art done!
